Ray Sperring opened the meeting and addressed the issues of marketing the concept and
the Executive Committee resolved the following;

It was agreed that the fees to the traders must
be kept at a minimum and to be viable for all types of small Accommodation Providers in any
Country town in Australia and some changes are being made accordingly in the marketing procedure;
The existing websites such as www.goldcoastregion.com which is currently ranked 3rd in google
out of 1.2 million and which receives over 30,000 sessions per month will be needed to divert the
initial flow of public enquiries to the new HAC website.

1 The HAC fees will be lowered for the first initial booking up to $100 to $5 flat rate fee.

2. The Accommodation Booking fees will now be from 2.75% to 4%

a) For the first $100 flat rate fee - $5
b) For $101 to $2000 4%
c) For $2001 to $5000 3%
d) For $5001 and over 2.75%
These fees include GST and bank transfer fees.
These fees will represent an “ADMIN” fee paid by the Booker to HAC as
a NON refundable fee when making the confirmed booking, and it is a fee
which is deducted from the gross sale amount that is diverted to the Trader.
The Net balance of the sale will be transferred directly into the traders trust account
when the Merchant Banking Gateway is set up for you.

LEVEL PLAYING FIELD
The Internet allows for an effective marketing tool to be used for the
entire Tourism Industry and in particular, The HAC Co-op concept is a
NON PROFIT
marketing vehicle to provide a level playing
field for all small Accommodation Providers when competing with
the Multi National Companies, or the large multi building groups who have
unlimited public funds to develop internet websites that capture the
lions share of business.
HAC gained Government approval to put a cap on share holding capacity
which is set at 40,000. No individual member or group can become a
controlling shareholder, and one membership covers the multi building
combines and only gives one vote.
All surplus funds are returned to Member Shareholders each year, BUT
most important, the HAC system provides a steady stream of bookings at
a minimal cost to the provider.

MANAGER AND CEO.
The Executive Appointed Ray Sperring as the Manager, and CEO

PROGRAMMING
Rodney Emms reported that he will need a couple more weeks to
finish the Programming Script.. All going well the HAC will be
ready by the end of this month.

REGIONAL TOURIST ASSOCIATIONS WILL BE H.A.C. AGENTS
I would like to thank the Directors who placed their faith in
this first Tourism Co-operative concept in the World.
It is a vehicle that other NON profit organisations such the “Regional Tourist
Associations”
in every State can use this programmed booking engine for Tourism
to add extra promotion to their local tourism industry and take over the agency
of H.A.C in their own region as their own marketing arm with their own website,
and offer their supporters a very economical and cost effective internet promotion
that will be networked all over the world.

H.A.C. is a programmed booking engine that can be dovetailed into any
EXISTING Shire's website.

It is an enormous project, and one that will soon be well recognised
Already many local Government Shires and Regional Tourism Associations
are reaping benefits from being linked to HAC.

The South Australian Government have already sent their
written letter of approval FROM THE MINISTER FOR TOURISM to
recommend the H.A.C. To the Tourism Traders in their State- Other States are
also considering placing their support behind the H.A.C. concept.

I am pleased to announce that the Regional and the Accommodation Interactive map directories are now published for the Gold Coast, to see please click here Just click on the map section of choice to get a detailed view of all Accommodation providers with links to their feature. -  This is a sample of the same form of interactive map directories which will be used for all regions and towns in Australia and I invite all regions to email a list of their providers with a Street address and we will format it to suit the internet at no cost.

Wishing you all good trading
Ray Sperring
